I have been back in my studio again and enjoying creating some new items. Of course, I have new beads to offer about once a month, but I have also been working on some fun home decor items. Featured here are my artisan wall tiles. Each tile has a hanging notch in the back, so they can be hung anywhere. They are weatherproof, so they are nice for patios, front entryways, and kitchens. Need that perfect gift for a new home-owner, or a Mother’s Day gift? There is always room for a small piece of wall art in anyone’s home!
I continue to work on new designs and I love playing with new glaze combinations. Each tile is my own design. I create a master tile, then I make a plaster mold. Even though the finished tiles are pulled from my mold, each is unique in that I tweak them before firing them in the kiln.
