A Garden Gift From A Friend Who Loves Tea

FullGardenBowl LynnsTeaTableAndBonsaiA dear friend of mine started my interest in tea houses several years ago. Ever since I have enjoyed collecting tea cups, tea pots, and tea strainers. Recently she gave me this adorable gift—just because! It fits right in with my collection of  tea paraphernalia and my love for miniature and fairy gardens.

If you look closely at the scene in my flower pot you will, hopefully, see a tiny table, set for tea, and a small chair just waiting for a fairy to come and enjoy.

The ficus plant has been living at my house for the past six years and is finally beginning to fill out and look more like an interesting tree. I have a few unusual rocks from special places I have visited and a tiny stone path made from fish tank gravel. Small succulents act as “shrubs” and I collected some moss from the north side of my Florida home for the “grass”.

Most mornings I sit out on my east-facing lanai (our screened patio area) and enjoy this view sipping my coffee, or sometimes tea.

I am always on the lookout for fun miniatures to add to my fairy gardens. I will talk more about that in an upcoming post. I would love to hear what inspires your creative gardening!

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoy the view!
