Fairy gardening has become a great hobby for thousands of people who love gardens and miniatures. This hobby affords endless possibilities for expressing creativity and charm. It is a fantastic way to enjoy gardening on a small scale and to introduce children to gardening.
I’ve made fairy gardens for myself for quite a few years, and admired the gardens of my friends and those at garden centers and plant shows. A few years ago I made some fairy gardens in large hypertufa pots with my grand kids. One grandson added a Lego® character to his which made it extra special for him! We all had such a fun time, made memories, learned a little about container gardening and plants, and were able to tap into creative juices.
For the past few years my husband and I have sold my fairy garden supplies and fairy gardens at art fairs and garden shows. I’ve learned so much over the years and I have been inspired by the creativity of my customers. Since the Covid pandemic hit we are only selling online now, so I have a lot more time to get creative with my new products.
Please visit my Etsy shop to see some of the fairy garden houses and accessories I have for you to enjoy. Each piece is handmade. They are created from sturdy stoneware clay, so they won’t fade or be damaged by sun or rain. Many people collect my work, as each piece is hand-crafted and unique. Make a cute container garden, or an entire village for indoors or out.
I would love to see photos and feature your fairy garden stories here on this blog.
Thanks for visiting!
